Counseling Approach: Often, people face many struggles in their lives.  Some struggles, they are able to deal and cope with but other struggles feel as though they are beyond their capacity to overcome. I truly believe that everyone has the capacity and the will-power to overcome their struggles, but sometimes could use a little help.  My approach is to provide a trusting safe-haven and non-judgmental environment, providing tools and skills that will be beneficial, and once again feel valued.  I provide treatment according to the clients’ needs and their desired goals.

Professional Passions: Trauma and Recovery, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Family/Inter and Intra Relationships Conflicts, Social Issues, Griefs/Losses, Chronic Illness/Pain

Education: Master of Social Work, Rutgers University

Experience: I began my mental health career in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Care mental health by providing individual, family, group counseling to adolescents, and adults that struggle with a variety of mental health and social needs.  Since then, I have transitioned to providing mental health needs in a school setting and a private practice setting here at Phoenix Wellness Center. I have gained a great deal of experience from various settings that I am able to apply to sessions with my clients to provide the most effective treatments.
