Krista Kranzley, LPC

Therapist

My Counseling Approach: I believe each person has the ability to change and progress in ways where they may have previously been stagnant.  Approaches I find myself using most often are cognitive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (including mindfulness). I have been trained to use specific interventions from CBT and DBT including interpersonal skills training.

My Professional Passions: holistic care, trauma therapy, spirituality, developing the best successful habits for everyday life, overall recovery and encouraging progress for my clients, understanding the science behind how the mind affects our body and our reality

My Personal Passions: Music, Nature, Outdoor activities, and the beach!

Education: MA in Professional Clinical Counseling, La Salle University

Experience: I began my work in the field counseling individuals battling addiction and co-occurring disorders like depression and anxiety through individual and group counseling. Following this, I worked at a hospital psychiatric center for veterans with PTSD and other mental health diagnoses. I continued to work in different levels of care at behavioral health and substance abuse treatment facilities focusing my efforts on learning more about how I can help clients become the best versions of themselves through CBT and DBT therapy. I have come on board at Phoenix Wellness Center, so I can work with a team of professionals who are also committed to healing and personal wellness.
